Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

This position is responsible for coordinating the completion and filing of all US federal and state income tax returns for Yum Brands, Inc. and subsidiaries

JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Manage the preparation of the of US federal consolidated income tax return and various state income tax returns - including forms 1120, 1118, 5471 and 8858
  2. Responsible for the review complex federal and state income tax returns
  3. Research tax issues and generate documentation to support return filing positions
  4. Oversee the federal and state quarterly estimated tax and annual extension processes
  5. Supervise the preparation of the global transfer pricing study, manage related intercompany charges and assist with other transfer pricing matters
  6. Coach and support compliance team members
  7. Provide support to the tax accounting and controversy teams


Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION : BS, Accounting; CPA certification

EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
  • 5-8 years of relevant corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry
  • Strong analytic, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Compliance software, preferably OneSource.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong supervisory and management skills.
