Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Executive Compensation Associate Analyst is responsible for timely administration, reconciliation, and compliance for Yum!'s executive compensation programs globally. Works closely with partners in Compensation, Talent Management, Benefits, Finance, Legal, Payroll and external vendors to ensure the flawless execution of our executive compensation programs. Provides outstanding customer service and interacts directly with executives.
  • Responsible for ensuring the effective administration, communication and issue resolution of Yum! Executive compensation programs, including but not limited to: auto and perquisite allowances, bonus, merit, long-term incentives (options, SARs, RSUs, and PSUs), nonqualified deferral plan, ownership reporting, and executive/director onboarding.
  • Administer Board of Directors compensation package, which includes contact with Board members, their financial advisors, and assistants.
  • Maintain SOX compliance with equity and nonqualified deferral plans. This includes participating in period, quarterly, and annual testing with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage vendors, primarily Voya and Merrill Lynch, regarding issue resolutions, process improvements, system enhancements, and quarterly business reviews
  • Miscellaneous project work, which includes Board of Director materials review, executive compensation design assistance, share reconciliation with AST, Merrill Lynch and Yum! Finance.


Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years HR, Accounting or Finance experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Team player
  • Great written and verbal communication skills and ability to counsel
  • Ability to handle issues involving sensitivity, confidentiality and legal exposure
  • Professionalism, business maturity, and the ability to balance urgency and decisiveness with patience and compassion
  • Ability to prioritize, time manage and meet deadlines on multiple deliverables
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation; ability to provide service/remain focused even during emotionally charged circumstances.
  • Experience with Oracle a plus
