Teaching Assistant Professor, Physics Job Description Teach a range of graduate and undergraduate courses in Physics, Astronomy, and Optical Engineering. Mentor, advise, and supervise the research of students. Improve existing courses and create new courses. Promote interest in Physics and astronomy to the broader community. Conduct original research and publish in academic journals in the field of Physics. Contribute to the highly interdisciplinary, collaborative, diverse, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture at Stevens Institute of Technology. Education Requirements: Candidates must have a Doctorate degree (or foreign equivalent) in Physics or a closely related field by the date of appointment.
