Lead, Organizational & Employee Development Job Description The University of Nevada, Human Resources seeks an innovative, collaborative candidate for a Lead, Organizational & Employee Development. The Lead, Organizational & Employee Development position within the University of Nevada, Human Resources manages a team of professionals that develop and coordinate institutional professional development programs and events, including supervisory and employee development and education. The Lead will design and deliver training programs which support University strategic initiatives such as onboarding, compliance, managerial, technical, soft skills development, leadership, employee professional development and topics on diversity, equity, access, and inclusion. This position will work cross functionally to identify and establish ongoing training needs and evaluate existing programs. The Lead will also assess and describe the outcomes of training programs and institutional impacts. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related work experience OR Master's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience Related Experience: Human resources, training, professional training and curriculum development, instructional technology, organization development, compliance; prior supervisory experience required. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience in employee development or educational technology including learning management system(s). Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills String critical thinking and problem solving skills Strong influencing skills Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to create training content using multiple delivery modalities Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) Familiarity working with data and reports to create dashboards reflecting training participation and trends Schedule Variable Work Schedule Compensation Grade Administrative Faculty C Salary is based on related education and experience, internal equity and budgets.
