Job Summary
The Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for two full-time Lecturer positions to begin August 1, 2024. The selected candidates will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. The successful candidates will have pedagogical expertise and teaching experience in inquiry-driven first year composition and communication, technical writing, and digital studies. The teaching load is three courses a semester and the position will involve service assignments with the department. A M.A. or Ph.D. in English or Writing is required.

The Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies (WRD) offers a BA/BS in Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies, a minor in Professional and Technical Writing, and an online certificate in Professional and Technical Writing.
