Position Summary
The Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education in the College of Education and Human Development invites applications for a Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure-Track).
Qualifications
Minimum Required Education
Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary Education, Reading/Literacy Education, Early Childhood Education, or a closely related field. ABD’s will be considered if the degree will be completed by August 2024.
Minimum Required Experience
Three (3) or more years of full-time teaching experience in a K-12 educational setting.
Minimum Required Licenses and/or Certifications
A standard teaching license.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver quality standards and research based instruction to graduate and undergraduate students using traditional, hybrid, and online delivery formats.
Collaborate with faculty to ensure appropriate curriculum design and program evaluation.
Mentor and supervise pre-service/in-service candidates during practicum and internship.
Provide academic advisement for students to ensure on time program completion.
Develop and sustain relationships with stakeholders through collaborative engagement.
Engage in scholarly activities leading to the execution of quality research.
Contribute to the mission of the university and profession through service activities.
