Visiting Clinical Faculty, School Psychology The Department of Educational Psychology in the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut invites applications and nominations for a non-tenure-track, nine-month Visiting Clinical Faculty of School Psychology beginning August 2024 at the rank of either Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor, Visiting Clinical Associate Professor, or Visiting Clinical Professor. This is a one-year position starting Fall 2024 with the possibility of renewal for up to three years. The successful candidate will join a dynamic program and department and will support the master’s/sixth year and doctoral school psychology programs. The Neag School of Education stands out as a major contributor to instructional and research excellence at the University of Connecticut, one of the nation’s leading public higher education institutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will work with the School Psychology faculty to support the NASP-approved master’s/6th year and APA-accredited doctoral programs, which are located at UConn’s main Storrs campus. The successful candidate will hold responsibilities such as teaching courses, mentoring students, supporting program approval and accreditation processes, and engaging with service and outreach with key groups within and beyond the University. In addition, the successful candidate will bring a demonstrated commitment to promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. The typical teaching load for a non-tenure-track faculty position is 3:3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Completed doctoral degree in School Psychology or related area, at time of appointment. Licensure as a psychologist in Connecticut, or able to submit for licensure in Connecticut upon hire. This is a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track position with a 1-year appointment renewed annually and may be renewed for up to three years. The anticipated start date of August 23, 2024. The successful candidate’s academic appointment will be at the Storrs campus. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
