Position Summary
Doane University, a liberal arts university with campuses in Crete and Lincoln, and an Omaha Location, is seeking an Alumni Outreach and Events Coordinator on our Crete Campus. The Alumni Outreach and Events Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Alumni Engagement and other members of the Advancement Staff to plan and execute programs and events designed to engage alumni and students while promoting philanthropic awareness. This position emphasizes engaging young alumni and students across different media platforms, including social media, written materials, and digital communication, within the alumni and advancement offices.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Two or more years of applicable experience in coordinating programs, communication, and events within a higher education community or similar nonprofit organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of and competency within email marketing and automation programs(such as ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, etc.)

Working Conditions
Normal business hours with occasional evening and weekend availability are necessary, particularly during peak periods like Homecoming and summer events. Some travel is required, primarily during the summer and for off-campus events throughout the year.
