PT High School Art & Animation Instructor Position Available: Part-time High School Art & Animation Instructor Reports to: Michelle Yan Join our team at DigiPen Academy as we seek an experienced, reliable, and engaging individual to fill the Part-time High School Art & Animation Instructor role. In this position, you'll play a crucial role in teaching High School-aged WANIC students in Redmond, WA, as part of our dynamic instructional team. At DigiPen Academy, in collaboration with WANIC (Washington Network for Innovative Careers) and the Lake Washington School District, we offer students a unique opportunity to cultivate skills vital for pursuing further education in fine art and animation. Our program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive skill set, covering traditional art techniques such as basic drawing, composition, line and value, and perspective drawing. We also introduce students to essential animation principles, including character concept and design, basic keyframe animation, motion studies, and both 2D and 3D computer animation. While enrolled at DigiPen Academy, students are eligible to earn college transfer credit, further enhancing their academic journey and opening doors to future opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Teach high school students the fundamentals required for entry into a Fine Arts degree program at the collegiate level. Required Skills/Attributes: Intermediate knowledge of Fine Art and Animation. Teaching and/or training experience. Wage Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Not benefits eligible.
