Salary Range

$55,000.00 depending on qualifications

Essential Functions
This is a full-time nine (9) month appointment with a possible annual renewal of up to five years.
The candidate hired will teach a mix of undergraduate Composition and Literature Survey
courses. Teaching the composition corequisite integrated reading and writing course will also be
required. The chair may assign the candidate other courses, depending on the instructor's
strengths and program needs.

• Teach a total of five classes per semester, both face-to-face and online.
• Provide support to students in need of academic improvement
• Provide service to the university, college, and/or department.

1. Doctorate in English

1. Rhetoric and Composition concentration
2. Research in basic/developmental writing and/or experience teaching Composition and
Integrated Reading and Writing
