Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science

Carlow University invites qualified applicants to apply for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Computer Science program. Eligible candidates must have teaching experience undergraduates, particularly in computer programming and computer science. Applicants must have a master’s degree or doctorate from an accredited institution in a relevant discipline.

Positions are available for Spring 2024 for CSC 103 – Programming for Everyone II, an undergraduate course in Python programming. CSC 103 is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:30-10:45am, and is taught in-person on Carlow’s campus. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience teaching Python programming courses, particularly with skills such as regular expressions, XML and JSON, and object-oriented programming.

The successful candidates must demonstrate and reflect an understanding of and commitment to the mission and core values of Carlow University and the Sisters of Mercy, and experience working with diverse populations.
