Position Title Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor As the Faculty Director of the MS in Data Science, the successful candidate will work with faculty who teach in this interdisciplinary program to manage the curriculum and student concerns. The faculty director will have administrative staff support for the day to day running of the program, and a faculty committee to support curricular and educational needs of the program. Applicants should feel comfortable teaching computer science majors and will have the opportunity to teach upper-level electives based on expertise. Interest in teaching in our data science undergraduate and MS programs is highly desirable. Teaching load is usually four courses each in fall and spring, with no required summer teaching. The role of Faculty Director for the MS in Data Science program will include two yearly course releases, as well as a summer stipend. The candidate will assist the department in curricular development, review, and assessment, as well as contribute to the educational mission of Loyola University Maryland. Teaching faculty are full voting members of the department.
