Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for two full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty positions (#144170 and #156050) at the rank of lecturer. These are one-year temporary appointments with a possible annual renewal for up to three years. The start date for the appointment is August 1, 2024.

Successful candidates will primarily teach introductory physics and astronomy lectures and laboratories.

Required Education
A master's degree in physics, astronomy, or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.

Other Desirables
Applicants with a PhD in physics, astronomy, or a closely related field by the appointment date will receive special consideration.
