One Semester Special Assistant Professor, Business Analytics
The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (IS/BAN) of Hofstra University invites applications for a Special Assistant Professor position in business analytics or a related discipline for the fall 2017 semester.
• Minimum Qualifications: The candidates should possess a master degree or an equivalent degree in statistics, mathematics, or related disciplines from an AACSB-accredited institution at the time of appointment. All applicants must have a proven record, or potential, of exceptional teaching.
• Desired Qualifications: The candidates should teach at least two or more of the following areas: introductory business statistics, multivariate analysis, time series and business forecasting, predictive analytics, or emerging analytics topics. The successful candidate should be willing and able to teach 3 to 4 courses per semester. The chosen faculty member is expected to contribute primarily in instruction with some research and service.
