POSITION: We are seeking a Research Project Manager to assist in managing a multi-project research program on the organization and performance of the medical system. The overall project is run by Professor David Cutler and Research Associate Nancy Beaulieu, both of Harvard University. The position is a full-time position with benefits, but has the flexibility to be part-time if desired by the right candidate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (required) or Masters (preferred).
We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and highly organized, with a passion for learning. Our ideal candidate will be excited to take ownership of multiple projects and keep track of every step of the process. S/he will have excellent attention to detail and strong writing, editorial, communication, and interpersonal skills. S/he will be able to work independently.
Computer requirements include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exposure to research grants, experience in a university or non-profit setting, webpage management, experience with statistical analysis programs, and some background knowledge of economics, public policy, or health policy are pluses but not required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include planning team research meetings; tracking the progress and activities associated with different research projects; grant reporting; writing and filing human subjects reviews; coordinating and monitoring data security and human subjects confidentiality; and organizing and coordinating multiple data use agreements (DUAs). You will work with project personnel to manage the restrictions pertaining to data elements under multiple DUAs in order to coordinate merging data for analysis and creation of public use data files by project personnel.
