Cyber Security Engineer The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for assisting with incident response, risk management, and disaster recovery planning among other security related responsibilities. On-call support is expected for the monitoring and response of critical systems and incidents. The Cyber Security Engineer is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert regarding security-related IT assets and systems utilized by the institution. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Essential Duties: Monitor emerging security/operationally related trends and threats to the institution daily. Two plus years of information security-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Security-related certifications are preferred; this may include Security+, GSEC, CISM, CISSP or other relevant certifications. Windows, Mac OS and Linux experience is required. Valid Driver's License and the ability to meet insurance requirements for driving university provided vehicles.
